Have the helm, lines, and cylinder installed. Bled the lines and it moves smooth as butter.

Don't judge the ugly brackets. They are on there temp so i could bleed it and make sure it's all working before i take her to have the motors rigged.

I'm going to build a cover over the area that we can use for a step when getting in and out over the transom.

Does anyone have a seastar setup? There is a rubber plug at the end of the "T" opposite the line input. This rubber plug popped out while under extreme pressure. By extreme i mean i was cranking the wheel hard against the stop. Also happened when i had the wife cranking the wheel as i held the steel shaft to bleed air.

Here is how i'm going to set up the step.

It's an Id10t plug...

I took the bleeder valve off the "T" instead of the plug. The instructions didn't show which end was the bleeder valve. There is a thunderstorm out now, so i'm not going to take a pic. But i downloaded one from the web. I took off that nipple, and kept the cap on.

Didn't realize it until i watched a video on how to bleed the system.

Live and learn.
