Somewhere on here I have some pics of the bunks falling off the trailer for the 18dc. They were 2x4 bunks designed for a pontoon boat.

So I took them off and put on some flat 4x6x12 lumber. 2 on each side so there would be a 12 inch platform to sit on.

Couldn't find 24" bunk carpet so I bought some 24" x 15' runners that are indoor outdoor. We will see how it holds up.

Then added some guide on bunks and PVC guides with lights. The PVC guides have a float switch you can set at water height so the light turns from red to green when you are at the depth you want.

That might not be used since I always unplug the lights before I back in.

Took out the seats to make it easier to install the SeaStar catamaran hydraulic steering and stainless wheel. Don't have a pic of that but will when its in.

Of the 2 motors that Tim Calms is rebuilding for me one is 90%. He had to find a diner block because the one had 2 burned cylinders.

Keep Tim in your prayers. He has been low on energy and had an angiogram the other day. Have not heard back from him yet though.

So the trailer still needs bunks in the channel to help keep it centered. I'll probably re use the old bunks for that.

That's the belt and suspenders. Don't want her drifting of the trailer in a current at he river.

I sat those seats in there to get them out of the way. Now I might look for some like that but a little thinner. Look at all those holes in the dash.

Don't know what I'll do with the old ride guide setup. It worked on the 2 40hp motors but didn't trust it for 200hp.
