TOPIC: windshield rubber

windshield rubber 10 years 1 month ago #98960

I am sure this has been asked several times....I used the research tab but to no avail. (is that even the correct method to search the site?)

Anyway.....58 Crestliner Mustang...has white rubber molding under windshield does anyone know of a source for this.

Thanks in advance.

PS going to pick up the lake n sea this weekend.....my girl friend thinks I am insane.

Thanks.

Steven if you'll look above you will see the "Advanced Search" option. You can set the parameters of your search, trying several different options. I find it very useful since my memory isn't what it once was. :)

I typed in windshield weatherstrip and brought up several good threads on the subject, this one gives several sources for the product;

Lots of us have used Wefco Rubber Co. near Los Angeles for windshield moulding and rubrail. I took a cross-section of my old moulding, colored it in with black sharpie, pressed it to some paper, faxed it to them (I think his name is Pete) and they had exactly what I needed. Got it a week later.
They have a website. Check them out.

Good Luck.
