viedo to follow. couldn't get the video to download (need help with that ,someone walk me through it). anyway after sitting in a garage for 15 years,i took her out today!! it took lots of tlc ,and tinkering with the motor. in the water at 8:30 am really calm water perfect for the first run. left the dock idleing past the know wake zone, then a little gas,then more till wide open, ran like a champ.couldn't be happyer with the out come.it was cool bringing something back to life. cruised for an hour and a half. i do have video on you tube under 1965 shell lake. some pics madbohunk safe boating yes i did have a trolling motor just in case.

Great to hear that all went well with the first trip out on the water. Quite a beautiful looking classic you have!

thanks everyone!!!yes the motor ran really great for the first time in awhile. just a little more tinkering with the idle. the boat handled really good also, so i'm Happy, Happy , Happy !!! So now its time to name her. The last few boats i've brought home i told my better half "look what followed me home" so this one is named "Followed Me Home". Madbohunk safe boating
