Restored 23’ 10” flat bottom. Bob Patterson built. Fiberglass + metal over wood. Dan Arena v-drive. 1710 cu. in. Allison WW II airplane engine or Unlimited Hydro. Half throttle 80 MPH at 2,200 RPM.

Half throttle @ 80 MPH ---> 2200RPM!!! That thing is just rediculous.

That big engine was designed as a WW II airplane engine, so it was designed to be very light for its displacement. It weights about what a Supercharged Hemi V-8 would weight in a boat.

These engines weight about 1,300 lbs, like a supercharged Chrysler Hemi.
