TOPIC: Old girls at work......

We took a family trip this week to Branson Mo and took both boats along. Had some great fun on both Table Rock and Bull Shoals lakes. The V Hull is a 63 Flying Scott and the Cat is a 59 American Marc.

The Scott did some tube pulling......

We didn't end up with any action shots of the American Marc, but did get some interior pics while cruising.

Certainly not museum pieces they still do "work" as family fun vessels.......

I very much need some close up photos of the name plates on your American Marc. I have restored one as well but mine didn't have any of the original emblems when I bought her. I would also like to have measurements of their exact locations on the boat if possible as well as the height of the letters and the length of the words. Hopefully with this info. I can find someone to duplicate them for me. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Incidentally, I used your youtube post to model the seats I had constructed for me. So you have already helped me! Thanks. Mine came seatless with lovely, large holes cut in the vertical "wings" where some cool cat decided to mount his stereo speakers many years ago. I'm sure it was a great idea at the time. Hey, what do you expect for a $830.00 ebay purchase of boat, trailer and two very ratty Mercury Merc 500's!

Does yours have a hull I. D. tag somewhere? If so where? If mine has one it is well hidden. Need to register mine with the state and I'm afraid I may have to invent a number to satisfy the govt. bean counters.
