TOPIC: Opportunity?

I have a chance to pick up an old glass boat/fins that is really junk. Believe me I know this one is beyond hope. But....it has a running 35 Johnson Javelin with all the chrome intact, controls, tank etc. Probably resell the motor and trailer, strip the boat of hardware, steering and junk it. Any value of the Javelin?

That's kind of a judgement cal Cal, depends on how bad you want it I guess. I believe the package should be worth around $300, personally I wouldn't go much more than that. Then you could re-coup some of your expense selling off items as you mentioned, and end up with a pretty sweet deal? Just my two cents........

Cal, what kind of boat is it? The javelin I would say if it was running would be worth maybe 200-300 IMO

If I had her I would fix her in a heartbeat. That is so much more than what I started with with my Winner.

The Deluxe Javelins originally were Gold (but not that shade) and Cream, with black band over the top of the cowl from the recoil door back.
The "front door" looks incorrect,and the transom clamps are home-fabricated as well.
Might have had lots of "tinkering" in its past?
