TOPIC: flying scott 60 hp

flying scott 60 hp 10 years 4 months ago #95643

For the past few months i have been searching for a 60 hp Scott to put on my crownline.

all of the ones i have found are either out of driving range or the sellers will not ship. Does anyone know or have one they would be willing to get rid of?

It dosent need to be in running condition, but it does need to be "fixable".

Let me know.

Thanks!
Scott

SSPOS,

where abouts are you located? If you are close i may consider making an offer.

Can anyone chime in on what a fair offer would be? I see so much up and down with these old Scotts that i am not sure.

Thanks!

Couple of familiar names here, Del and Cowboy.

Although this looks like my first post, I couldn't get my old id to reactivate. Been away a few years. But I've reentered the hobby with what seems to be a quite rare (titled as 1956 but probably 1958) 14' Rexcraft lummie runabout. Had it out a couple of times already. It's in such great condition, I'm not restoring it but I did replace the transom. Currently have a West Bend Golden Shark on it, but I also have a Scott built Elgin that I really want to use once I get it running. Eventually would like to find a nice Javelin, just missing one yesterday by a few minutes. I'll post photos once I figure it out again.

OP, where are you located? I'm in Bemidji. Not many old boat collectors up here. I remember Del from back when I had my Supreme Spitfire and Cowboy, you bought a Glastron from me once.
