Greg, Most people over 30 still can't turn a computer on. Two fingers are better than one! And lastly where you live, it's to cold to use more than two because they may snap off. Then what would you do???

Mark, 7pm Wed is a good time, We all have cabin fever anyway. We can consider it Boat therapy. Years ago on another site we would start a 7 pm eastern and end when ever California went to bed. Which was 2 am some nights.

Reply I was curious on the time zone too so I asked should have posted it. It is 7pm eastern standard time. 6 pm central. 5 pm mountain and for those if us on the left coast 4pm. Not fair but I caught a few folks last week at 7 pst

I would enjoy that Dave. I will look to see you Wed at 7 or so. What's neat is that fiberglassics site is large enough that we could have different chats on every night of the week. General chat on Wed night. Woodies take a night, Alumi's another and we could juggle where we chat by what we are working on.

The reason we thought of wed nite was there used to be a wed nite with boathouse forum a few years back,, but there is no reason why a standard meeting at a certain time,I can talk wood,then lumies the glass,,, good idea Bill

Bill, - We did have a good time on the boathouse chat, that's for sure every wed night at 7 pm. I learned more about boat restoration for all types of boats on those wed nights than in all the posts over the years. You, Skip, Del, Jerry, Merks, Brad and Dave aka Capt'n Fishguts himself. I hope in reviving this general Chat others will be able to get the answers they need to do their boats. Some others who are still around with us back then like John Gibson, Redfish Pirate, Handiman, garbiologist, GOA, JAG, Hippieman59, and the California crew that would come in about 9:30 or 10pm like Don with the Larson sea lion cuddy, Bearcat, and Kajun. Besides the fellowship was great and the kidding around was done in fun. Good Times for sure.

Bill...the center tab that says forums is a dropdown bar (you probably have to be signed in)...it is under the big v under fiberglassics...john

the same thing happened to me today it gave me an option to make up a nickname so I added a 2 to my username and it let me in. hope this helps

Hey, it looks like the chat was semi-successful once people got in.
Typically you should log in to the website before you go to the chat room and then it won't prompt you to log in at the chat room. I'll try to be online at the next chat to do some trouble-shooting. Missed it last night. Ken |
