TOPIC: Chrysler 5 hp won't start

hi everyone,

I was not sure were to post this so i hope the main forum is fine.
Anyway i picked up a old chrysler for 35 euro.
He looks very nice sadly it is paint over on the outside. But it is just a small enigne for the summer. With a bigger engine i will need a license.

I have been working on it for a week now. It has spark and is timed, the carb is cleaned but it still won't start it looks like there is no fuel getting into te engine. The fuel lines were old and are replaced the fuel pump is also working fine. Does someone have an idea why it won't get any fuel into the engine?

sounds like a stuck needle and seat in the carb. try spraying a mixture of gas and oil into the carb and see if it will fire. frog

Thanks for the tip. It runs right now. It also had to much oil to fuel ratio i used the same tank as my west bend which is 25:1 and this 50:1. He is ready for the summer now. THANKS!!!
