TOPIC: For you Glastron guys...

I got a call from a gentleman today that had a few questions about a 1960 Glastron Fireflite that he has for sale on ebay currently. After talking to him a little while, it came up in our conversation that when he got the boat, it didn't, and had never had a motor installed on it, as there were NO MOUNTING HOLES in the transom until he mounted his motor on it...after talking a little more, he told me that it didn't have a bow light or any other hardware on it when he got it, only the windshield and the original Glastron steering wheel. So, taking all of that into consideration, I believe what he has is a never dealer rigged, never molested, 1960 Glastron Fireflite. If anyone is interested in it, the ebay item number is 150453039079. Just thought I'd pass it along..

If it is infact completely original(looks like it was restored at one time or another to me personally), someones gonna be getting a WAY good deal!!

That is a nice one. I think it has been refirbed too. Also, 1960 had more aluminum trim. They even had trim in a fin shape that contained a gold foil decal if I am not mistaken. I believe that is the last year for that hull. Maybe a 61,2,3,4?
