TOPIC: Any imformation on a 1958 westcoast dolphin

I have a 14 ft westcoast fiberglass dolphin boat it has the wrap around fiberglass windsheld I did find a thread on this forum but that was it does anyone know about this boat ?

SORRY, but I've never even heard of that maker.
(My guess is that there were many HUNDREDS of small boat-builders in the 1950-1970 era. - I have a list of near 100 made here in TX alone.)

Cool boat bill I have the same hull without the flybridge shes a fatty for sure I was thinking becouse its so wide I might build a small tuna tower for it .they must not have built many yours is the only one I have ever seen

Here are a couple more photos of Dolphin Boats that may be interesting to you. The first appears to be an approximately 14' model? The others are bigger, maybe 17-18' and the same hull as the cabin cruiser model?

The 16' hull was in runabout with fiberglass framed windshield with flat panels, or with wraparound plexiglass winshield, or with the flying bridge like mine.
They are fatties, really wide beam for the length with a full bow. The runabouts have sitting headroom under the bow deck, and a hatch for easy in/out on the beach.

I must have mesured it worng it has the wrap around fiberglass with plexieglass I took the plexiglass out and Iam going to replace them with snap in windows new top the whole works it looks like the 3 d one down but with the wraparound . when I first saw this boat I fell in love with it I did not have any money to buy it then 4 years later the guy called me and said come get this boat out of my yard you can have it wooo hoo that was a good day !

IF you haven't already discovered this TRUTH, there is hardly ANYTHING as expensive as a "free boat".
