Reaching out to anyone who will take a look.
I am in need of a lower gearcase unit for
my 1964, 60hp Evinrude SportFour.
I know that from 1958 to 1968 the 50hp,60hp and 75hp Evinrude motors all use the same lower unit and almost all other parts on those motors cross over. My unit is what is considered the "standard unit" because in the "heavy duty" the skeg is held on by about 10 bolts that allow the gearcase to drop out of the bottom.
If you have, know of anyone that has or who I should contact for a lower gearcase unit that is rebuilt, needs no new seals/gaskets/and is in great to perfect shape....please get in touch with me. This is going to be very spendy to rebuild if I can't find an entire unit.

The model # for my motor is a 60453S
