I once had an earlier Allmand 23'. Mine was a 1966 Cuddy, V6 OMC power, 8 foot beam, no flybridge. That boat was rock solid. I think it had enough fiberglass in it to make at least two boats. The old V6 pushed it well. Very seaworthy. Enough room aft and amidships to open a bowling alley. Of all the boats I've owned, that Allmand was the best as far as being built solidly and equipped for reliability. I considered it to be built like a commercial rig as opposed to a recreational standard. I ran it in the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico for a few years. Very good boat.

Thanks.

I think it will be at Sunnyland ACBS in March on Lake Dora.
