Hmm Definitely an Attwood bow light. Same as on my Wagemaker. Not sure what it is but I'm sure someone here knows.

From what I can see,I'm gonna say it's a '62 cause it has the hatch that don't match the deck and does have the texture on the dash and lounge sleeper seats. If nothing else, grab that top. A lot of people would love to have it."but that's just my two cents"

I also vote for a early 60's Aristo - Craft Funliner..with the forward sloping fins. . Don't buy it for the Steering wheel . The gray smaller wheel is after market plastic FLEETWING. Very common , no character. Boats built in Atlanta ,Georgia, What city has been found. ?

Most definitely an Aristocraft Funliner. Bart I'm willing to pay you for your trouble to ship that hardtop to NJ for me. I've been looking for one since I bought my '61 a year ago, this is the first one I've seen.

Poor old Funliner.. Looks like how mine looked when I picked it up.. Mossy and in disrepair.. Like they all said, Grab that top! Too Bad the Windsheild is gone.

This boat isn't going anywhere anytime soon. I'll make arrangements to talk to the owner and see what can be done. I'll need a few weeks to get to that , so be patient please.

hmm, if you are scrapping it, I'd be interested in the lens from the bowlight, it's identical to the one on the dorsett. but if you find you want to restore the boat instead, I would understand :)

What else is salvageable on the boat?

Captain Shake
I have that bowlight if you are in need.
I have one glass lens and one plastic.
I am keeping the glass.

The original deal is with Bart Dodge so if it does not work out, here is what I have.
Bart Dodge, I apologize for intruding.

Nice. I'll see what bart says, i'm not in a big hurry for the lens right now, been focusing on some dead elms around the farm right now. and the starflight next...

EVERYTHING that hasn't turned to dust. Hard to judge from the pix but drag that thing outta the woods & decide if you want to attempt to bring it back from the brink. It is most likely teetering on that edge.

Then decide how much effort you want to put into taking the bits off & selling/trading them.

They are prety solid boats.. Mine needed the wood core in the Transom Changed but the Stringer/floors in both are fine.. I think they are Glass actually... www.fiberglassics.com/fiberglassics-forums/home/main-forum/aristocraft-funliner-transom

Re:Mystery Find... Fins and Hardtop 10 years 8 months ago #88793

It is an Aristo Craft Funliner. A little older than mine because mine has the sliding hatch. Can be restored The transom is half wood half fiberglass. stringers. are fiberglass and no foam under the floor. They are built as two hulls one inside of the other. Check the Aristo Craft Site. If you don't get the boat get the top it is very desireable. I just bought one this week. Took me seven years to find one.
