No, myself and others have many, many of them. The bow is different and stretched out, the foredeck is not X-18 DONZI. This thing is something else, hence the confusion. Could be a one off, but off of what ? I'm thinking something early with a short production run from a defunct manufacturer. West Coast boat.

Why do you think it a West Coast boat ? It is located in Ft.Erie Ontario,Nichols Marine, just below the Peace Bridge, so I would be leaning towards a Canadian builder.The HIN was required in the USA after 1970ish? and probably was not required in Canada. The boat looks newer than the early 70's so it was not built in the USA.The decal patch on it does look like a Donzi outline,having said that I do agree it is not a Donzi 18.You have a more speed oriented crowd over at Scream and Fly.com try them if no correct answers here.
