Bristol Boat 10 years 11 months ago #84987

Hello, I'm hoping that someone out there will be able to help me.

I am after any information available on a motor boat that I have come into possession of, I believe it to be a Water-ski towboat, that I am renovating, on it is a plate which says:

A BRISTOL BOAT (138)

However the only thing that I have manged to dig up is this article/advert

The folks at the (U.K.) Classic Motor Boat Association may be able to help more than us. I am sure there are more advertisements out there, it just takes someone to look through or digitize a stack of old boating magazines!

I recently sold my Bristol that was made in Long Beach in 1961. It was a flat-bottom that actually resembled the G-3 but was 16'. There's not much info on it and while researching it, I came across the English company that made sailboats. The Fiberglassics site only had copies of the bluebook.
