TOPIC: Bellboy Banshee Gunwale Rubber

Bellboy Banshee Gunwale Rubber 10 years 11 months ago #84976

G'day all,
Hoping someone on here will be able to help. I am chasing a sample or a good picture and some dimensions of the original gunwale rubber. This is the last part of the restore and we are hanging to get it out on the water.

Thanks

Stuart.

Does the rubrail separate the red from the white?

I couldn't see any evidence of where the rail was supposed to be installed.

Definitely a great looking boat! Nice work!

Hi thanks, yes it is supposed to seperate the two. There are a couple of nice chrome mouldings it fits into half way along the hull which have not been installed yet.

G'day, I have got onto Wefco and they have replied stating they will have the dies still but asked if I could get a sample or a pictures and dimensions of an original so they can match it up. Cheers

Hi,
I looked a long time for a rub rail replacement for the Banshee I am restoring. Wefco profile 0023G is the closest thing I have found to the old rub rail I took off. Their price to extrude is $6.00 per ft, continuous piece. Hope this helps.
