TOPIC: FiberGlassics Library Updates

Four days into the Federal government furlough and I am all caught up on the honey do list.

No boat or outboards to work on- they are 1500 miles away.

So how to scratch the fiberglass itch?

Over the next couple days or so I plan to make a big push on the FiberGlassics Library.


Please feel free to suggest any pages that need re-organizing, further research, or other changes. Also, please scan and send in images of original literature you may have.


The contributions of folks such as yourselves makes the FiberGlassics Library such a comprehensive and useful resource- preserving, sharing, and promoting the history of these old boats.

How far back of material do you want to go ?
I have to dig it up, but I have a salesman hand book with pictures and model numbers of the 1932 Chris Craft line, that I bought at an auction years back.

What you have there may be appreciated a lot more by the Chris Craft Antique Boat Club. They also have a wiki-style library that needs volunteers:

FiberGlassics had usually been light on the wood boat resources because of the excellent work of the ACBS and its marquee clubs in preserving and sharing information.
