ok gang...send me your pic's. since the calendars inception, the first 48 received will be included. closing date for pic's will be november 15th, or until the calendar is full.
the calendars are $18.00 this year. i will keep track of the orders and payments on this thread. as in the past years any overage will be donated to FiberGlassics. ron

Hey Ron, what is the best size for these photos? I sent you mine reduced to 1153x768. If I know the actual size the printer uses, I can resend it at that size. That way I can resharpen the image, as reducing it blurs it some.

Thanks, and by the way, I don't have a wife.......but I'm sure the couple in the pic you were talking about looks good too.

Could it be "size" means memory space rather than pixel density? I saved mine as email attachments and had no difficulty posting them. Another route would be to exchange them via email. Unless you have an archaic ISP, they should transmit with any problem, though you may have to send multiple emails as some ISP's limit uploads to 3 MB or so.

Come on Glassheads, Ron needs some more pics and orders to make this year's calendar happen! This is a direct appeal from FiberGlassics to get out the photos to him! It would be a shame to not have a calendar this year!

Hi Ron. I hope your recovery is going well for you. Many thanks for doing the calendar again this year. I just sent a pic of my boat but I have to say that it is a pretty lousy one at best. The thing is it is the best pic that I have so far. If you get 49 entries and you need to cut one entry to get down to 48 then I would fully expect it to be mine. Again, thanks.

In digital photography size means two things. One is the physical dimensions, such as 1200 by 800 pixels, and it also means density, such as 96 dpi(dots per inch) Printers prefer 300 dpi because that produces a high resolution print with no jaggies (jagged edges). So for printing you would want to send no less than about 240 dpi, at 800 by 600, but the printer can resize photos using photoshop or some other photo editor to size it correctly.

On the other hand images for display ona computer screen should be 600 by 400 or there about at 96 dpi. This is because most monitors use either 72 or 96 dpi. Some of the higher level monitorss can display 150 dpi.
