TOPIC: my new / old boat

I picked up a boat to make into a club house for my grandson. I,ll write more about it later. just trying to see if I can send pix. I had to get a new computer and it does not work like my old one did. change is not good!!!!!!!yes it works here are a couple more the hull is a 1901 life boat from lake superior and a deceased friend of mine built the cabin on it, he used it for fishing lake superior. it has been in a barn for the last 8 years. I just found out his widow still had it and we made a deal. I,am going to make it into a pirate ship for my grandson, but no sails just a jolly roger flag. frog

Be sure to build some kind of cover over it for protection from the sun and rain otherwise, it will be a ghost ship in three years, firewood in five.

Take good care of it and he can use it to his dying days on Lake Superior. He'll love you forever and think of you every time he takes her out whether it's in the back yard or the lake in 20 years.

thanks for all the comments guys. my grandson sure is excided about it. I,am going to remove the engine and trans so the floor will be flat, but will keep them to reinstall when he gets tired of it and then it will go on the water again. frog
