I looked at one today and noticed it is sort of a tri-hull.
Has anyone ridden in one of these?
I don't want another teeth rattler.
The mid hull looked a lot deeper then the side hulls.

I have never ridden in a GT-140 but I would think that being a tri-hull it would rattle your teeth. If your looking for a comfortable riding glastron, I would look at a Futura or a bayflite. Also a $1000 dollars for a GT-140 without a motor seems a little high, I would think $500 would be the most you should pay.

Just about any boat under 16' will not be comfortable at speed on any water unless under 1 foot chop or big rollers.Wakes from larger boats will rattle your teeth until you get a 20-22ft boat.BTW after reading your post about your current boat being big and roomy along with KIDS missing it I would not go with a smaller boat unless you keep the current one.Kids mean water toys and friends at some point, the GT140 is not going to cut it.

Thanks guys. He isn't going to come down, I don't think.
The boat is in great shape. It is a 20" transom.
My plan is to drop a 76' 70HP Evinrude on it, but it is only rated for 60HP.
If the Feather Craft owner doesn't call me, I may offer him $700.
I wouldn't call it a true tri-hull.
My 17' Starcraft is a true tri-hull, and hitting wakes is no fun.
