A lotta speed but can you imagine the fuel consumption!!!!

A V-Drive would put the power to the "ground" much more efficiently.

My long-time boating/skiing buddy used to have a 16' Jolly Roger V-Drive with a blueprinted 302, it would spin up to 72 mph at 7200 rpm. Better be hanging on, too! The acceleration was incredible.

And yet, the jet boat is pretty cool and quite noisy I expect! Would be a kick in the pants to go for a ride just once!!!!

Note, how much added weight slows this jet boat down!
