TOPIC: Glastron Scimitar caught my eye

I saw one of these up on the Whitefish Chain in Central MN. Here is the site that tells about this unique Glastron.

I think they were eying my Evinrude Playmate as mucha as I was checking out their boat. I'm not usually a Glastron fan, but this thing is awesome!

The Scimitars (and Intimidators for that matter) ARE a sight to see, years ahead of their time in design IMHO. Ole Red out in Oklahoma has several on his site, there's a great rebuild thread on one going on right now for anybody interested;

It was funny. It was raining out and we had the crazy Playmate top with the rear overhang on our boat and they actually had the custom rear cover with the plastic windows on their boat as well.

I actually enjoy boating in the rain if I have a good top.
