TOPIC: ok one step closer

ok one step closer 11 years 3 months ago #79469

i got out this morning in my monkey suit and sanded and ground down the transom , cleaned off the lines where the skin was to judge my cut .. cut it down with a jig saw .. that stuff is like cutting concrete.. got it done. filled a couple of spots with some structural filler, i need to take it and wash it down. get the dust off of it .. i also got my three pieces of 3/8" marine plywood. getting some gauges soon and joe is getting my controls together. i have some non-absorbent Styrofoam ad will use a rope saw to cut the block with. fill in the stringers then mark and cut my wood. this is a good start. 21 inches from the top of the transom to the bottom of the boat. i know everybody likes pictures
