Thanks satx I thought so as well it's going to be mainly for fishing and w the open front design the wife can always lay out and relax in the sun when in not quite ready to go in

Not only is that a beautiful boat but that 140HP 4-cylinder engine is a FORKLIFT engine (INDUSTRIAL QUALITY) that will likely OUTLAST both of you, with regular oil changes & proper winterization. - I know of one that has been used daily/constantly in a huge warehouse for well over a decade with nothing but routine care. yours, satx |

That's great news my only question is it says leaded only 93+ octane is mid grade fule ok??

IF it was me, I would use "lead substitute additive" & a GOOD mid-grade WITHOUT ethanol in that engine. = Remember that is an engine (whose design though probably NOT the engine itself) PRE-DATES "unleaded gas" & "gasohol blends". BEST WISHES, satx |

I was definitely thinking the additive but as for non eth fuel hahaha so herd to come by
If I get fule in PA it has less then in NJ may just have to run premium in her hope she has good fuel economy |

I am running the same motor, only in the 120 h.p. version, in a 1970 Sabercraft. Routine maintenance and a good impellor in the drive and she runs flawless. We call her "Old Reliable".

Your engine will like you better if you use nothing but straight gas in it. - It might be worth your time to make the 125 mile round trip & buy one or two 55gallon drums full of the good gasoline and put some fuel stabilizer in the drums. just my OPINION, satx |
