I just purchased my first larger boat I've owned a few row boats and rebuilt a 14' awachita w a tiller motor
But last Friday I bought a 1974 classic boats inc. model 183 I can't find a darn thing on these boats anywhere no pics of them nothing can anyone please help me out I have H.I.N I'm just not coming up w anything

lake hopatcong is the only freshwater within 60 miles of me for powerboating other than the hudson river. you have to go on a weekday though otherwise its jammed. every june we hold our northeast meet at silver lake, in perry,n.y., its one of the smaller finger lakes. if you would like to attend a wet meet or a boat show, theres 3 coming up in the next few months. ron

Is there any way you could scan the page and email it to me I'd love to have a print out of it more clear I actually just dropped that same flag off at the vfw to be recycled wish I new it came on the boat would have saved it

All else that I will say about your rig is that I wish I could find a hull similar to yours, as that would be "the cat's pajamas" for LIVE-LINING for cobia, tarpon, bull dolphin and sharks "out on the salt". = Plenty of room to follow/fight a big fish standing up, good for fly-fishing & enough freeboard to keep "toothy fellows" OUTSIDE of the "people space".
(Remind me to tell you sometime about the day that a "teenage" Tiger-shark "came to call", without the captain's approval to board!)

That's why I bought I love to fish but I'm skeptical about takin her out To sea bays maybe but I don't know it's a little small for me to risk it
I'm just a country boy loves my bass fishin
I have been out on friends Grady whites for fluke flounder and snappers
But yea I fell in love with its hull first pic on Craig's list
And for $275 why wouldn't I buy it

I wouldn't be afraid to go out to the offshore platforms in that rig to fish, but maybe I'm just "nuts". - I got my 602# Blacktip out of a 17ft runabout with a 30#-class Penn rig.
(That was quite an evening.)

FYI, I would have "broken my arm" writing a 275.oo check for that rig. - I cannot believe that anyone would be dumb enough to sell it for so little!!!!

Guy had it listed as make offer
I said $250 he said no
I said I'll give you $275 and be there in an hour
So I showed up w my compressor and a me set of trailer lights wired them up
Hooked up and brought her home
Go a $100 ticket for no plate on the trailer but hey I still got a great deal

And I'll try anything twice as long as the wife ain't in the boat that is

There must be at least ONE brain-dead person in NJ, to even consider selling that rig for 275.oo. = LUCKY YOU!!!
(FWIW, I know of a guy, from 78220, who bought a "more or less running" 21ft I/O Glastron V-214 runabout on a tandem trailer for ONE dollar.- "The guy" told him, "I just want it GONE".)

I'm never THAT lucky.
