TOPIC: Where to put the name?

I was going to hijack John-Gibson's last post on painting the sunray, where it digressed into boat names, but thought better of it. I named my CC Aqua Ray "Telstar", but I'm not sure where to put it on the boat, given the transom configuration. "Tel" on one side and "star" on the other is DOA.

Looks like your only option is to put on each side toward the rear.

Or on the hullsides near the stern. I've seen it done this way. My parent's outboard has had the name in this location since 1965.

My boats are named but I have not put the names on the boats. There just isn't room with outboard motors like on an inboard or inboard/outboard.

Without fins, the rear corners don't give me much to work with, either.
