TOPIC: Aristocraft Nineteen and Funliner Windshield Swap?

Aristocraft Nineteen and Funliner Windshield Swap? 11 years 4 months ago #77613

Hi Everybody,

I've run out of patience (about 5 years) looking for a reasonable windshield replacement for my 62 Funliner. So I'm wondering if the Nineteen windshield (which is more available in my area) would fit the boat. Does anyone know?

Specifically, it needs to fit the molded cowling that receives the windshield frame. I don't need it to fit the sliding roof.

Any help appreciated!

Cheers,

Weren't those made with the back glass out of a Studebaker or something? Even so, I can see where they would be hard to come by. If your "wingtip to wingtip" measurements are close to the same, sounds like you might be on to a solution there. Share some pics of your project when you get a chance, and welcome aboard NCR!

Not sure, but believe the nineteen is wider than the funliner. A bud has a 1975 nineteen. Could measure against my 63 funliner.

Thanks, Jim & Mark.

I got the measurements for the 19 and it looks like it's too big.

Also, I JUST missed a $200 Funliner in Hingham, MA that had (what appeared to be) a great windshield. Arghhhh!!! Keep on looking...
