TOPIC: Marine plywood price

I was at a local lumberyard and they said the price for 1/2" marine fir plywood was $58 per sheet. Does that seem right? I paid a lot more (adjusting for size) for the 3/4" that I used on the transom.

Tudor $58 sounds like its in the ball park. Two years ago I think I paid something like $46 for 1/2 inch, at my local big box store. They had to special order it, but that was 2 years ago and I know for some reason the price of plywood in general has been going up. I look forward to seeing pictures of your glastron soon, now that project season is starting LOL.

I think that's in the ball park too.

Maybe I got ripped off on the 3/4" and just found a place with more normal prices. Too late to take the 3/4" back now. I need 3 sheet for the new floor.

I'm anxious to get going on it, but they are saying the week after next before temperatures moderate. Jetflite, I do have some pics from last year in Member's Projects.

Some of these plywood sheets sold at the big box stores comes from " offshore suppliers "
