Has anyone put a 40 hp Honda 4 stroke on a 14 ft Larson all American. I am concerned about the weight and performance. I am restoring my boat and would like the power trim and updates of a new motor.

I put a 50hp honda on a little G-3 and had no problem at all so that boat should handle it fine I would think,Bill

How long is you G3 . Great looking boat. Is your 50 a long or short shaft?

Long shaft,13'6" or so,, We made it a long shaft transom,,,Bill
