TOPIC: what happened to the chat room?

i was thinking..i know im not good at it but i was still thinking..
what happened to the chatroom?i saw that a bunch of folks went in it,but it was at different times than others.
i think (there i go again) that if we had it on certain days and times it would work,it worked great on another site.

say like, mondays,wendsdays and fridays starting at 5 pm or all days of the week,starting at 5pm.,it just something to throw out there.

It's still there John, when you click on the Forums button in the tool bar it's the second item down - right under Fiberglassic Forums. (I posted a "Hi John", see if you see it in there.) I think you're right though, without a posted or scheduled time, there's usually nobody in there. It would probably be best to give a couple days notice, but we could set something up for this evening if you'd like, just let me know and I'll be there.

duh,i told you i was'nt used to thinking,lol.i forgot where the chatroom was.
i hope i can remember ,ill do my best to be there at abot 7pm tonight,john

Tonight was only the 2nd time I recall it being used.

Was alot of fun.

Good chatting but how do we know when someone is in?

We don't, we just have post a schedule. Like "Saturday night, 8pm EST - Chat about Mercury engines with the experts"

When the chat room screen comes up there should be a box on the right hand side that shows you who all is in the room Cal. If not, there is a button toward the bottom that turns it (the box) on and off.

how about 7 or 8 pm est every night for anyone that cant do it on other nights,just a thought,john

it was fun but i'll tell you with 7-8 chatters its hard sometimes to recognize who is replying to who. lol

Yeah it can get a little crazy. It was fun though.
