one of my kids freinds dad showed up at my house today and gave this motor its a johnson seahorse 40s i think did i score ? he had a good story.he said long ago someone gave him a plow for his antique tractor and he never had that feeling in his life and thought it was great. so he just wanted to do the same for me with the motor. karma !!!!!

some karma to him too. i remember that motor from younger days. a neighbor of ours at our summer place on the delaware river had one. always ran great for him. ron

Model and serial numbers will correctly identify, but it looks like a late 40's TN series 5hp. Pretty common, nice runners.

Nice looking original motor. Is it a TS (5hp) or an HS (2.5hp)
post the full model and serial #'s and I can tell you what year etc.
