I wondered whether this was a Power Cat, but has shades of Custom Craft too. Can't imagine it's from our side of the pond though..too big and ostentatious - deep pockets needed to fuel twins too...Great history if it's true.

Hmmm, I don't think that is a Power Cat or a custom Craft. Very unusual boat!

Believe that will be a Kit Kat or Catamarine made by American Marc.

It's either a Catamarine or a KitKat. Without the windshield, they don't look near as cool as they can. The boat is not as large as you might think. Its somewhere between a 15C and an 18C It would be awesome with a pair of OMC 70/75 loopers on it.

I just realized that the brochure page filed under
American Marc showing the Kit Kat is not an American Marc!
That is from Craig Craft who made that boat not American Marc.
The one in the Ebay add is most likely the Catamarine by
American Marc...

The Catamarine was designed and built by American Marc. Craig Systems Inc. had a short lived affair into the marine industry. They were a business machine company - so I have no idea on why they thought getting into boats would help their portfolio....

Anyway Craig systems formed a marine division named Craig Craft. American Marc Inc licensed their boat plans and molds to Craig. Craig simply re named the American Marc models and sold them on the East Coast and Midwest. There were few, if any differences between the American Marcs and the Craigs.

Bruce:
I have only seen one Craig Cat and it was the one that
Dick Davis modified. The hull on the one he had is very
different than the Catamarine by American Marc. Obviously
there could have been different versions over the years.
The deck followed the same finned styling cues but again
not exactly the same... Could Craig have made there own
version of cat latter on that was not out of the American Marc
mold? Top photo is the Craig - bottom is the Catamarine..

Another member Johnnycatt found it and saved it then posted it here. I was lucky enough to be able to adopt it about a year and a half ago. It is a great boat for family fun. Has a swim platform built in.

Thanks for all the thumbs up. As you all know any old boat that looks well kept will always start a conversation. My wife and kids hate it, but I just smile and answer questions. Thanks for all the help, I wouldn't be here at all if it weren't for this forum.
