Friends,
I need an on-gunnel "flush-mount or near flush-mount" stainless, bronze or chromed-brass fuel filler assembly, including screw-on cap. The external diameter has changed since the '80s and I'm hoping that someone here has one to sell, off a junked I/O or Inboard boat. THANKS, satx |

OK, I took some quickie pics it'v very usable a little scratched on the top from years of use. It's the kind that tightends from the bottom, no screws. If you're interested, holler.

I never unscrewed the cover, just removed the whole thing from a junker but there is no reason it should not be usable, no chain though.

Too bad that it doesn't say FUEL or DIESEL. = I'll have to figure out how to remove the GAS from the top, lest the wrong fuel end up in the tank. MOST of these caps say nothing at all or FUEL, so that they can be used for any sort. yours, satx |

Iwould think clean it up and put some JB WELD or body filler in it and sand it down.or just a die grinder ,and the polish it smooth would work.
