Look for information on or in the boat. Look for a capacity plate, manufacturer's ID plate, serial number, hull ID. What manufacturer and location?

Boat manufacturer's typically did not have operation or owner manuals for their boats. Manulas for outboard motors can be found often on ebay or from the Ken Cook in the Milwaukee area. Identifying the motor must come from the model number and serial number on the motor.
