That looks slick :woohoo: you could stop with the black now in my books, but I've never been to good at imagining what things will look like until they are done :P NICE job !!

Nice. Your time and attention to detail REALLY shows in the prep work on the hull- I know black shows every little flaw, and I can see NONE. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Bill,
Slathers of black!
Here's a pic of your and my former Dorsett San Juan.
She has a good home, stored in her own heated garage.
Her new name is Zazu.

Ya gonna put AC in it. That cabin gonna get a little warm in the sunshine being all black. Other than that really nice paint job you got there so far. Skip.

thanks for the dorsett pic i want to make a railing like that to put on this dorsett, here is a trick to get it flat and glossy.i just use a board to do the sanding all the way up to 800 grit and i polish it with a course and fine compound then i wax it.That is funny how dirty it gets with a black paint.i just want to see what she will looks like being all glossy and black beside that i didn,t really know what color to pick for her.

thanks for the kind words.I rather go fast then having ac.this is what i got for power and i hope it will push her fast enough. An original 1976 150hp Merc less then 24hrs of use since new.I got lucky and paid only $750 for a twin but sold 1 of them for $2500 and keep 1 for myself.

Beuatiful job on your hull and gotta love that tower of power Merc! A nice cream or off white deck would really set that boat off and keep the deck cooler. I can't wait to see the end result. Looks fabulous!
