Yesterday is our last day for the season. Water level is just getting too low and we don't fish.

Sad day all around. Not a problem with water level on Lake Michigan just getting colder every day and the wind the past few days has been relentless.

That is the place. Boat ramps are waaaay down there. Nice day, a little smokey from the fires. We saw only three other boats. We ended up with 49 miles for the day. Busy summer for us, only launched 4 times all summer. Neil |

Yea, kinda thought that was the place. I sent lots of time on there when I lived out there.Really liked it except for the water dropping in the fall. Better than boating on the snake.

I'm hoping to get out for one last skiing session before it is too cold this coming weekend. I even bought a wetsuit.
Maybe I can go until November. One weird goal I have is to be able to ski every month of the year. April to Nov. on water, Dec to Mar. on the snow. |
