Is there anyone who makes new pressure tanks? I have been searching for one since I got my boat but they are crazy expensive. Does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes new plastic ones?

Ive never seen a "new" pressure tank, its usuly simpler to upgrade your pump system and use a new single hose tank, what motor are you useing?

I have a friend who restores them. He gets about $80 or so for one. They look pretty darn good. I can put you in touch if you're interested.

I seen on ebay before the kit to rebuild the outlet. Mine is leaky there and does not work. When I get time to fix that outboard I'm converting it to a single hose. It's a 57 25 Johnson. I'm sure the parts are still available. Mine is pretty good condition otherwise.

By the time you invest in a new plastic tank & line, plus a good fuel pump, you're probably getting close to what it would cost to simply get a decent pressure tank. Keep an eye on Craigslist and check your local marinas. They're out there and NOT as hard to find as people might think. Just gotta keep looking. I bought one at a garage sale this spring for $15 - spotless inside and with the connector.

You aren't going to find a new pressure tank- They are not made any more. The idea of a pressurized fuel system like that is inherently FAR more dangerous than a modern fuel pump system.

If you look, you can get good deals on a used one, but $80.00 for a newly reconditioned one is a pretty good deal, too... I find them on occasion as garage sales, etc, but usually there are rust issues with them. You are probably better off converting the motor, it's not hard, and not that expensive. You'll be able to buy the tank and fuel lines pretty much anywhere then.
