TOPIC: 1967 Crosby

1967 Crosby 12 years 1 month ago #68231

I was out looking for a moter for my '62 G3 hull when I found a '72 Merc 800. The moter was on a 18' 1967 Crosby Seasled I found on Craigslist. I brought the boat home with the moter. I am not having much luck finding good info on this boat.

I would like to know where to find info on the boat. For example, is the bottom filled with foam?

WoW At that price Daniel I'm afraid it would be in my driveway before I tried to find out more. Did you get it? Check the library.

Yes, I got it. Boat, moter, and trailer too. It cost me $12 for a temp plate to get it home and $20 in gas. So I am very happy with the deal. B)

But now I have 3 project boats in the back yard and some decisions to make. I know if I ask advice here, I will be told to sell the latest model boat, and restore the two from to '60s ;)

I know I will be begging for a lot of advice as I restore these boats, for now I am just trying to get more history.
