TOPIC: 1961 Bock 18ft cabin sloop

I recently purchased this sailboat but cannot find any information about her. She needs some minor patching and a new paint job, but otherwise seems in great shape. Can anyone help me out with any information. What I know is:

I found pics of a couple ads with the Cabin Sloop. I hope they are helpful.

Congratulations! It appears to be the same company as the one listed in the FG Library. They mad a lot of neat 18' +/- mini cruiser sailboats in the late 50s and early 60s. I learned to sail on a 1959 Nautica Corsaire (plywood)which was built in France. Enjoy. I'm an avid sailor so feel free to contact me with questions.

I will share my vast knowledge of sailboats with you. It won't take long to read. I think it used sails to catch the wind and pushes you around on the water. I never tried it but always wanted too. Cool project. We maybe should have a sailboat section.

Wow! Great responses! Thanks everyone. Those ad clippings....I paid $12 for them from ebay a year ago! Funny they're still around! But, so far, that IS the most I've been able to learn. That's how I figured out the year....
