TOPIC: Could you guys take a look at this?

My wife and I slipped down to the lake Monday and made some movies and I've been trying to get some movies to play right on my computer.I was wondering if they ran at the right speed on someone else s.I'd appreciate it if someone would let me know. Thanks,jim

The buffering took forever from Photobucket. I have a hot rod computer and fast internet, but video kept stopping to buffer more. Its possible that you are are recording at too high of a bit rate, where there is more information (colors/frames) in the clip to stream well. I am not familiar with Photobucket, but if loaded up to YouTube it will automatically be down-sampled... its worth a try.

Looks like you got that motor and boat dialed in really good there. Great looking boat and the motor really sounds smooth. Nice to see vids of the boat on the lake. Skip.

Thanks Skip, I thought the movies would be something for me to look at this winter when it gets nasty and cold outside .

Love the Movies! I just pulled my Aristocraft down from the tweeters to mount my 1250 Merc on :-D ..... May be too much looking at your vids.... Whistles innocently. What speed do you get out of that set up? Am I going to Die with the 125 HP on there? lol

Thanks Jesse. With my wife and I aboard, it averages 35mph wot. I usually pull it back to 30 mph to save a little gas.As for the 125, I don't know if you will die, but it might be wise to have on a diaper . Seriously,I'd think a 100 hp merc would be the perfect balance on this boat. I know the johnson weighs 244lbs and does a real good job for what I want. Don't know about a merc 125. I'd be more concerned about ripping the transom off when you throw the juice to it.lol On a different note,I have a 62 merc 850 I'm going to try to get going this winter and have decided to set it on my crestliner to see how I like it. It might end up on the Aristocraft someday.jim

I checked the thread yesterday but didn't see the movie. Today I checked again and it was perfect. Looked like an excellent day for a cruise. Love the boat!

Jim Honestly I have no idea... I hope 40+ I have never run this engine on the water just on a test stand so we will see! I will have to try props out to find one that works well. I hope to be able to let you know how it goes in the next week or so..
