fyi, i cannot remember ANY boat from "my mis-spent youth" that came from the factory with rear view mirrors BUT they were commonly installed by dealers, here in TX, as you HAD to ALWAYS have an "observer" in the boat at ALL TIMES or rearview mirrors, if you has waterskis in the boat.
(a Dr friend of mine in 1965 got a "ticket" from a lake patrolman for no mirrors & he had NOBODY in the boat with him, in/out of the boat.)

did any company factory-install mirrors? - i just don't know.

I see you were in the shop for a while, it's good to hear your out.

I was wondering about the visor, noticed it in the before but not the afters. I like it. The mirrors are a nice touch I thought about the Cobra style also. Decided to go with these vintage aftermarket Yankee Metal fender mirrors.

Yankee made most of the factory automotive and aftermarket mirrors back in the day.

Ebay has a good selection, search vintage side view mirror. These are a few I will be listing soon as I get them polished.

John, I don't know how you do it, always come up with the coolest additions, designs and color schemes. Really sharp looking toy. I have one of those bullet mirrors on the Sabre that I kept for over 40 years, can't for the life of me remember what it came off of. Probably from a Whitney catalog way back when.
