TOPIC: AquaFleet

A surprise sight on Lake St. Catherine, Vt. this weekend is a 1956 Firefly by Aquafleet. My dad had one of these, which had a red deck and black/white houndstooth snap-in seat cushions, with a Johnson 18 manual start. I could not believe my eyes as I saw this moored at the state campground while I was trolling. Have not seen one of these since my dad traded it for a 1958 Custom Craft with an Evinrude Lark. The Aquafleet logo has survived on this sample (port side). The owner has painted the deck and increased the transom height.
