This Project X is going to be a complete re-creation of something very very special. I've posted some new clues on my site. I hope someone will guess it soon so I can start posting the progress photo's!

Project X is nothing short of the complete reproduction of the Holy Grail of finned boats. We are in the process of making a mold set from the Cadillac Sea Lark!

Just an update, there has been a lot of progress on the re-creation. The molds are all done but one and the first hull has been started. Have a look!

After KevFin's Show in Beloit this year, he learned that the original owner of this boat was available to interview for a short time. He asked me to extend my trip and drive through Chicagoland and up the Michigan coast to a small lake resort town to record the interview.

I've condensed the discussion about how the boat came to survive into 2- 10 minute videos viewable from Kevin's "Fin City Forum"

We had lighting and audio challenges but I think you'll all find it pretty interesting with some of the additional material supplied by Kevin.
