Today I got the old plywood transom out of the Glastron and pretty much intact. The only section I had to cut out was the parts that went 1/2 way up the fin on each side. Fortunately, the rot is confined to the areas where there were penetrations. I start laying out the new piece this weekend. 3/4" longer and 1/2" wider on each side than the old one. Maybe this time it will fit right.

Ditto on that. Be grateful it came out so easy.
