I like to make my own Fairing material. Gives me a longer working time and more flexibility in the consistency of the mix. I usually start with 1/2 cup of poly laminating resin, a heaping tablespoon of Cabosil and then mix glass bubbles till I get the consistency I'm looking for. Usually something like mayonaise. If I'm working upside down, I might go a bit thicker. I then add the MEKP at about a 1% ratio. This will give me a reasonable working time and still allow the resin to set up hard. This mix fills and sands like a dream. Try it, I think you'll like it.
