today ed gordon and i are going to take it to a marine dealer,to get a gas line connector for the merc 500,and hopefully get it running.
we HOPE to then take it to curwensville lake to try it out for the 1st time, since we restored it,cross your fingers for us,lol, john and yep, thats the wrong prop on it,we just put it on for a show last year because the real prop wasnt painted yet.
the real prop for it is on it now.

thanks guys,i guess it just wasnt ment to be,he didnt hve the part we needed, and it poured down rain, started to flood in some places, its that darn black cloud that follows me around.
but we did find some old boats, one was an owens,i didnt get a pic he wanted 1500 bucks, but we did get a pic of a fellows junk boatyard with a mfg hardtop, that was starting to sink because of all the rain.
and we got a old personal water craft,i "THINK' its a johnson seahorse?am i right or wrong.
we couldnt pick it up yet,but soon, john the unrestored devil ray behind the restored sunray and i almost forgot the GWinvader, bad transom

Hi John,
I can name that console you put in your boat. I had one in my 14' flat bottom. Got it at Wal-Mart. I should have my 1961 Bristol back in the water Monday after almost a year with wondering what to do with a blown cylinder. Solution = 1990 120hp Evinrude 20" shaft. Our weather report... no rain for weeks and 110. But it's a dry heat.

hi phil, yep, but i had to retrofit it and upholster it .
im glad our getting your boat back on the water, john i also had to rebuild the seat bases, they were way too high ,10 inches. the rest was hand built, like the dash sides and rear cover.

By the look of that lake John you could have put the boat in there. I like the looks of that cruiser.

lol, robert, the fellow that owns the pond is a bit eccentric, its only about60 feet across at the longest point with a tiny island abot ten feet across.

i liked that hardtop too,the transom was bad though.

is the pwc a johnson seahorse?i would like to know what it is,lol,i plan on painting it the same as one of my boats for a matching set, lol, john john

John, that PWC is an ORIGINAL Sea-Doo made in the late 60's. Not a huge success due to the use of an air cooled snowmobile motor + the need to keep water out = Not much cooling air. If it can be saved, run extra oil to keep it well lubed in case it gets hot. Somewhat rare, maybe very rare depending on how many burned up.

John, did you try your local NAPA fore a fuel line connector? They have most all varieties and no doubt cheaper than a marine dealer. Got a pic of what you're looking for? I just gave a couple merc fuel line fittings away! (To Tim.)

Attwood number 888-3 with elbow. I paid a dollar for it. Want it? Come get it. I bought a number of fittings at this price and just have a few left. It's your if you want it. Wha I'm mowing grass today. Something screwed up. If you want it it is yours.

That pic of the "time out bench" must have been when it was new, Ron! My rear end has been on there a time or two, I know it's much more "worn looking" now. (The bench)  :woohoo:

John - you need to erase the question marks behind the word splashdown and replace them with exclamations. C'mon - get that thing in the lake already - Summer's wasting!

I think video clips have to be uploaded to You Tube, Photobucket, or something like that first John. Then you can post the link here and it should work.
