TOPIC: I know most of you are dry, we are very wet

The Pacific Northwest continues to be the coolest and wettest state in the union. In Newport Washington we have had the 3rd wettest winter on record and it continues to rain. So much rain that our little lake (Diamond Lake, 44 miles north of Spokane)is overflowing. There is a wake restriction and you can't go over 5 knots. I haven't even been able to get my go-kart in the water yet...

Boy is it dry here in Pennsylvania. Funny thing is in the second picture your dog is sinking. LOL

as is everything on and in the lake, HA!

We got plenty in early June and since then it has been far too dry.
Central MN still isn't in a drought, but soon. We are still resting on the huge amounts of rain we got a month ago.

About an inch of rain TOTAL since June 1!!!! Lawn is dead brown and crunchy, corn crops are dying, fields are cracked and dry. Water levels are dropping fast. Not much chance of rain until August in the forecast. Mid to upper 90's temps keeping me indoors (I'm a Michigander, can't handle high heat/humidity well) My collection of old outboard projects is feeling neglected. Enjoy what you have in Washington, and be thankful, future summers may not be as kind.

It's supposed to be beautiful at Priest Lake this weekend - Come on up for the 2nd Annual Glassic Show. It's only 30 miles.

Well the drought is broken here. We have had cloudy skies every day for near 2 weeks and rain almost every day. Places have had over 20 inches of rain in the last week and a few places has had 10" to 12" in just a few hrs.

However just 70 miles west and 60 miles north they are still in need of rain
