This is what I got.

Now what is suppose to be attached to the other end. Also where and how do I hook it up.

Being a person of superior intelligence and well rounded in almost every subject known, (or not known) to most men. I am finding my-self humbled by this little bas@#^d. And I know I'm going to kick my-self when I see how easy it is to do.

Please post a pic of how to hook it up.

Pitot attachment even with the bottom of boat on the lower transom, with your hose attached to it. Buy one at most marine stores. Very simple-two small screws and attach the tube to it as well as to the back of the speedometer.s Here is a good picture of it (black tube down right hand side of trasom!) The pitot drags in the water, and water pressure going up it causes the speed to register on the dial!!!

Perfect! Thanks for the help.

I figured it was something simple, but when you don't know, you just don't know.

Thanks again.

A nice feature on my Airguide, that I assume they all have, is an adjustment screw also for making the speedometer more accurate. Mine was "off" according to me GPS, but after adjusting the little screw on the back of the speedometer to match the GPS it is pretty good. I bought mine NOS in the box, but it did not come with the water pickup either. I also had some minor trouble getting a good seal on the back of the speedometer, to hose connection. I did find some good spring type clamps known as "Corbin" clamps that took care of that. Also, try to keep from getting any water traps in the line to from the water pickup to the speedometer, at least as much as possible. It can become an "air lock" and prevent you from getting any reading, let alone a good reading. Just my experience, yours may vary.

Thanks for the heads up Dave. :)

Now I have to re-route the hose!
